V System, the well-known manufacturing company located in the heart of Emilia’s ‘Motor Valley’, is now equipped with new competencies to make its move into aerospace and defence markets. Despite the global pandemic, V System has worked relentlessly towards forging a new path to ISO 9100 accreditation. It is a goal that the company, which neighbours the iconic F1 Testing Track in Fiorano Modenese, has achieved by working round the clock to complete all the necessary steps and procedures. Now, its specialisation in hydroforming, tube bending, welding and special alloys manufacturing design is available to new markets, alongside its traditional leading role in the motorsport industry.
The new ISO9100 certification is a further step forward for V System’s internal processes organization, which, added to the pre-existing ISO9001, will bring better traceability, robustness and accuracy for all our range of products. Accreditations make V System a key point of reference in the fields of welding and plastic forming technologies; our range of expertise is varied, and can range between tube bending, hydroforming, dimensional controls, reverse engineering of components, welded joints analysis for WPS (Welding Procedure Standard) preparation, metallographic inspections and much more. Moreover, our internal metallurgical lab is supporting all our welding process development by performing micro and macro analysis of joints, penetrant liquid testing and visual inspections of welds, all of which is performed by our highly-skilled staff.
